 b project provides Physical Therapy services to get you back to your activity, along with progressive Movement Strength Training programs and Group Classes to meet your active lifestyle goals.

 Treatment Session Options

 

Injury recover at b project begins with a Treatment Evaluation by a licensed Physical Therapist and our Certified Training Staff. The evaluation consists of a two-part evaluation; the first part is with a licensed physical therapist where they will assess and treat the problem. The second part is with a Certified Training Staff member where they will use instructions from the Physical Therapist to assess how the body moves/compensates in function using specific exercises. This evaluation allows the Physical Therapist to organize the individual’s history, current state and goals into a specific plan of care unique to the individual. During each future session, reassessment of the client’s current state and session response will adjust the plan to help maximize goal progression.

 

*Please note: deciding to forgo the rehabilitation exercise component of the session will not change the price

Licensed Physical Therapy Staff have the training and the passion for the craft of hands on therapeutic methods. Each treatment session includes: an assessment, manual therapy, manual therapy response, reassessment, and an individualized rehabilitation exercise program carried out by a Certified Training Staff member, but overseen by the Physical Therapist. Each individualized plan of care is a distinctive collection of strategies and dynamic in construct, adjusting and pushing to maximize client success.

 

Monthly Packages of Treatment Sessions with our Staff provides a discount for committing to your future. Each package is designed for a 1-month time frame, which must be completed within 6 weeks of package initiation.

 

 Treatment Sessions with Owner – Brad Jones

 

Owner, Brad Jones is a practicing Licensed Physical Therapist with over seventeen years of hands on experience, and is the mastermind and educator of the hands-on manual therapy techniques that have evolved b project to the next level in treatment & exercise skills. Brad’s accomplishments are numerous, including working for the United States Ski & Snowboard Association and two Winter Olympics.

 

Each treatment session includes: an assessment, manual therapy, manual therapy response, reassessment, and an individualized rehabilitation exercise program carried out by a Certified Training Staff member, but overseen by the Physical Therapist. Each individualized plan of care is a distinctive collection of strategies and dynamic in construct, adjusting and pushing to maximize client success.

 b project Certified Movement Training Specialists (CMS) provide you the progressive path and guidance to build a foundation of proper body mechanics. The strength training process is not teaching to duplicate exercise, it is a process to identify dysfunction and provide guidance to mechanical progression. As intensity, volume, and complexity increase in any training programming, Movement training instruction continues to police the level of technical ability. The push towards performance includes advancing usable strength, balance development, dynamic flexibility, postural stability, and expanding the speed/intensity of movement.

 

Movement Training begins with an Evaluation using the Movement Assessment, which is the blueprint to describing an individual’s mechanics and ability for performing specific challenges.

 

 Movement Strength Training Sessions

 

Movement Strength Training Sessions are one to one exercise training instructions between the client and our CMS staff member to personalize and maximize your goals and success. Each plan of care is a distinctive collection of strategies. Clear and concise communication between staff members and the client is crucial for success. The b project process is a dynamic construct, adjusting and pushing to maximize client success.

 Group Class Options

 

 b project’s version of a group setting is keeping our participant number small to allow for individual mechanical adjustments. These classes are appropriate for all ages and levels. Each session includes two instructors providing unique insight to how b project philosophies fit into an active lifestyle, and how participating keeps you performing at your best. b project offers 3 different group class: Surf Skills Sessions, Posture & Dynamic Flexibility, and The b project Challenge.

 

 Surf Skills Sessions

 

1 hr. Surf Skills Sessions with JD Lewis. This class will help you surf better and prevent/combat any physical limitations that keep you out of the water. Using b project philosophies of functional training and range of motion to work on foundational pieces of surfing allowing you to feel strong and stable every surf session. Using exercises that target specific movements in surfing, will translate into more efficient movements in the water. Regardless of your fitness/surfing levels, this class will give you tools to keep you in the water.

 

 Surf Skills Sessions

 

Surf Skills Sessions (SSS) are small group classes of 10 clients with two Certified Training staff members providing individual attention to every group member. The SSS staff provide unique insight to how b project philosophies fit into a surfing lifestyle.

Posture & Dynamic Flexibility Class

 

 1 hr. Posture & Dynamic Flexibility Class. This class will help work on realigning your posture by targeting specific weakness and limitations. Each exercise creates a starting point for postural correction. Utilizing b project’s movement training philosophy, this class aims to target areas of postural tightness and create muscle activation for better mobility and flexibility throughout the body.   

 

 Posture & Dynamic Flexibility Class

 

Posture & Dynamic Flexibility (PDF) are small group classes of 10 clients with two Certified Training staff members providing individual attention to every group member. The PDF staff provide unique insight to how b project philosophies fit into your lifestyle goals.

 

 The b project Challenge

 

1hr. b project challenge with Will Clark. Tom Hanks once said “If it wasn’t hard, everyone would do it. It’s the hard that makes it great.” Challenges come in many forms; in exercise, repetitions and duration are two great tests on physical tolerance. This class is designed to test your ability to maintain b project level technique, with the challenges of high repetition and positional holds. Be ready for your heart rate to raise and stay there for the entire class. The movements are simple and precise, with fluid transitions into fun exercise variations physically stressing the mind and body as one. This is a full body multiple exercise circuit format ready to push your limits. Are you ready for the challenge?     

 

 The b project Challenge

 

The b project Challenge (BPC) are small group classes of 10 clients with two Certified Training staff members providing individual attention to every group member. The BPC staff provide unique insight to how b project philosophies fit into your lifestyle goals.

 Homework Program Design Options

 

Homework programs are designed for the individual who lives out of town or travels frequently, but wants to stay consistent with their b project Movement Training routine. Program design for Movement Training is a collaborative effort between the Movement Specialist and client. The Movement Specialist leads the design with insight into the client’s current state, and performance goals. Communication between the client and Movement Specialist requires open lines of communication to maximize each program design, this includes appropriate feedback for level changes and client tolerance for each exercise. Client’s will be provided a homework sheet that includes things to focus on while doing the exercise, in addition to videos, via DropBox, corresponding to all exercises and recovery stretches outlined on their program. Also included is a 15min or 30min zoom meeting between the Movement Specialist and client in order to discuss any questions a client has about their homework program.

 

*Please Note: Paying for Homework Program Designs individually is ONLY available for clients consistently using Movement Training sessions at b project.  All homework programs expire in 6 weeks.

 

 Homework Program Design

 

Homework Program Design provides movement program design and instruction for taking your b project Movement Training program with you on the road, at home, or at the gym.

 

 All new client’s to b project seeking a Movement Training program they can do at home or at their gym, may choose from the following program design options.

 Combining Package Options

 

Matching the frequency of treatments and movement training sessions may change as you progress at b project. Having options to complement your currents goals is helpful for maximizing your progression. You can mix & match various packages to help transition from rehabilitating a specific area of concern to a next level maintenance program designed to develop and progress usable strength, balance, dynamic flexibility, postural stability, speed & intensity of movement, & optimize recovery. Ask a b project staff member how to combine different packages to better fit your wants and needs.
